Based in Dreieich, Germany, RECOM has expanded its user-support and technical service base with the appointment of Dipl. Ing. (FH) Carl Schramm, who will be based in the Recom Development office in Gmunden, Austria, with effect from 01.01.2006. This addition to the team will further assist world wide RECOM customers with an improved technical support and assistance service for the design-in of RECOM products.

Carl Schramm worked for 17 years as a developer and later also as a project leader for measuring instrumentation for water purity analysis. During this time, he built up an extensive knowledge and experience base of the diverse problems and specifications with which development engineers are confronted. Afterwards, he worked for 8 years for Datel in the section Applications, Service and QA and further refined his problem-solving skills there. His technical knowledge and experience was summarised in his published textbook DC/DC-Wandler im Einsatz.

Additionally to the above mentioned tasks, Carl Schramm will also take on the responsibility for the area Reliability and Reliability testing for RECOM. His motto is: Without an extensive user support service, a manufacturer cannot be successful even if he does offer innovative and high quality products!
